15. The Great Christmas Cake Caper
Welcome to episode fifteen of A Proper DBE Podcast brought to you by Daughters of the British Empire.
This week, we're getting in the Christmas spirit and talking all about fruit cake!
In 2020, the Houston Bazaar was cancelled but locals still wanted their Christmas Cakes usually found at Brigadoon's booth. So, Brigadoon baked away making almost 60 Christmas cakes, some of which travelled over 250 miles to reach their destination. Tune in to hear about their success.
